The Problem

Exotic pet owners often face challenges related to the responsible care and management of their unique animal companions.

Bob is a flight attendant who has two pets and doesn’t know how to take care of them when he is busy. He sometimes forgets to feed his pets, so their health is slowly declining. With the Exotic Pet Enclosure, he won’t have to worry because it has automatic feeders with a timer to set the feeding time. It also has a thermostat to set the temperature and a divider to keep 2 pets, along with a lot of space and toys. Now, Bob can just put some food in the feeder, set the time and temperature, keep his pet inside, and go on with his job. Bob will have less stress, and his pets will be healthier and happier.

Exotic pet owners need to provide appropriate enclosures and environments that replicate the natural habitats of their pets. Maintaining these habitats can be complex and costly.

The Solution:

The problem we want to solve is that many reptiles get uncomfortable in their small cages and don’t like it. It is also a struggle for some people to remember to feed their reptiles 3 times a day. So we had an idea to create something that can feed automatically, lots of space and toys so you don’t have to keep entertaining them, a small thermostat, and a special divider so you can put 2 pets in it. All you have to do is set the thermostat, put in some food and water, and set the time for the automatic feeders to come out.

There are about 4 million reptile owners in the US and we think we might be able to take of that which is 500,000 people because they might want to get it from other places like Safari Exotic Animal Cages.

Pricing

Our product is $200 and 500,000 times $200 = 100,000,000 (1 hundred million) so we might be able to make about 1 hundred million dollars in a year or two. Since it is $200, if they don’t like it and decide to return it we will lose only $200. The reason it is $200 is that the pet plastic is $16, the feeder system is $55, the metal framing is $20, the repti-bark is $15, all of the toys are $20, and the cost of a small basic thermostat is about $10. All of it =$136 but since we made something new and better out of it it will be $200.

Marketing

If in the future, it is created and someone wants to order it, they can order the enclosure from Amazon or our website; PetBox.com. They are both easily accessible and people know about them. If you use our enclosure for a long time it can lead to better health of your reptile and you get more things done because you don’t have to take much time out of your day caring for your pets. It will be packaged and shipped in a cardboard eco-friendly box. The enclosure works right out of the box and if desired, comes with a divider so all you have to do is put in the divider. And it is very easy to store because you don’t have to put it back in a box, you can just leave it there and nothing will happen to it..
