The Problem Statement
The problem I would like to solve is blind spots for bikers. As a fellow biker, biking and not being able to see in certain areas makes me scared. This detector should prevent bicycle accidents and should ensure the safety of bikers.
The Idea
A Bicycle Blind Spot Detector is a safety device designed to enhance the visibility of cyclists and reduce the risk of accidents caused by blind spots. These detectors typically use a combination of sensors, such as ultrasonic or radar, to detect vehicles approaching from behind or entering the blind spot of the cyclist.
The Solution
The Blind Spot Detector will prevent bike accidents, and will alert bikers when a vehicle is near them. This will solve the rate of bike accidents.
The Blind Spot Detector will alert bikers when a vehicle or object is within 15 feet or less. There will be three LED’s on the bike, one for the left side, one for the right, and another for the back. When a vehicle comes closer than 15 feet on either one of those sides, the LEDS will flash. This will alert
the biker.
Product Key Features
- The best features of the Bike Blind Spot Detector is that the sensor will detect any vehicles, then the LEDs will flash alerting the biker.
- The LED’s will alert the biker, and let them know a vehicle is coming.
- The sensors will detect any vehicle which will then make the led flash, if the vehicle is closer than 15ft
- When the LED’s flash it will alert the biker they are 15 feet within a car.
- The Blind Spot Detector will help when you cannot see a car coming.

Each Sensor is about 8$ on amazon. I will buy a big pack of LEDs which will be 5$ for 100. I will charge 25$ for my product. Profiting 12$ per sale.
How it Works
- The sensor will sense if there are any vehicles closer than 15 feet.
- When the sensor detects a vehicle it will make the LED flash
- The LED will then alert the biker flashing red.

Strengths
Other products similar to mine are more expensive. This gives me an up when people don’t have a high budget.

The objective behind developing the Bicycle Blind Spot Detector is :-
