AmphibiBot is a robot that collects plastics using its mouth and a coating of SPIONs. The SPION coating can be replaced as necessary. When it's done collecting plastics it will float up using ballasts.
Story
Our product is the AmphibiBot which operates in the ocean and collects plastics by opening its mouth and using its coat of SPIONs to attract microplastics. The water it collects will then be drained from the “gills” behind its eyes. The SPION covering can be removed and replaced as needed and can also be recycled. It swims in the ocean and will swim away if it faces an obstacle. Its coloring also helps it blend into the ocean. When it’s done collecting plastics air will be pumped into its ballasts to float up to the surface where it will be collected and emptied.
