Embedded Learner Board features and codes

The illiterate of the future will not be the person who cannot read. It will be the person who does not know how to learn – Alvin Toffler

    Embedded Learner Board

Update: This article was last updated on 17th July 2024 to reflect the accuracy and up-to-date information on the page.

The Embedded Learner Board is an electronics board for tech enthusiasts to learn to code, electronics, and IoT. This is one of the best activities for hands-on experience  — connect it to Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or ESP with jumper wires and start learning and experimenting. The board includes practical tools like a 16×2 Alphanumeric display, 7-segment display, relay, IR sensor, push buttons, LEDs, vibration motor, temperature sensor, buzzer, and potentiometer. This board is perfect for anyone excited about electronics and embedded hardware. Get started and learn by doing!

    Embedded Learner Board 2

Educators always look for low-cost solutions easily available in the market, out of the box ready to use, modular, and self-explanatory. To start learning embedded systems, the first thing that is basic and common is Arduino and Raspberry Pi. These two embedded boards are feature-rich, compact with high computing power, and are available in various versions and various form factors.

But certainly, while learning, one also needs a lot of complementary hardware which is common in most DIY projects—for example, push-buttons, LEDs, relays, motors, displays, sensors, buzzers, etc.

However, during the learning phase, you need more exposure to decide what other components need to be purchased and what can be the most useful feature that we can have in our project. Only after learning about the sensor do we realize how useful it can be to us in a specific way.

If this initial phase has fewer options to explore, then learning becomes a tedious task and the enthusiasm that we start with goes to waste. Only theoretical knowledge or reading about sensors and boards cannot make a good impression as compared to getting hands-on experience while creating one.

    Embedded Learner Board 2

This is where our Embedded Learner Board comes into the picture. This learning board was designed and developed by Moonpreneur. Although it is a new board, it justifies its name because the board is specifically designed to improve the learning experience of the students. It can be used with both Arduino and Raspberry Pi. The board can be easily connected with the help of a jumper wire, which comes with the board, to Arduino or Raspberry Pi.

    Features–An Overview

🚩The embedded Learner Board has a lot of essential basic components embedded into the board, i.e., 16×2 alphanumeric display, 7-segment display, LED array, vibration Motor, Relay, IR Sensor, Push Buttons, Temperature Sensor, Buzzer, and a Potentiometer.

🚩The board can be easily mounted on another board or project with the help of a mounting hole. The IO header is one of the cool features, as it is provided on the sides like in Raspberry Pi and Arduino, which makes the connections easier and more organized. The pins for similar elements are well-provided and easy to find.

🚩There is a common power supply to all the elements if needed. The size of the board is quite compact even with so many components on the board.

🚩Also, the hardware part is affordable and low-cost compared to the market cost of individual components. To make it even easier for students and help them start, Moonpreneur provides sample codes and free sessions with a team of experts.

These sessions are quite informative. The concept of these sessions is to explore the possibilities that can be developed with the board. This learner board has a good potential to at least create good competition in the market for such learner boards.

All in all, the Embedded Learner Board by Moonpreneur is a revolutionary DIY embedded learning system that not only teaches you programming and coding but also gives you a hands-on learning experience.

The possibilities are endless! They can create things like:
Light shows: Program LEDs to blink or change colors in different patterns.
Simple games: Build a basic reaction game using buttons and the screen.
Interactive sensors: Explore how sensors like light detectors or temperature sensors work by incorporating them into projects.
