Biography

Sekhar Sarukkai is a versatile professional with expertise in technology, entrepreneurship, education, and investment.
Sekhar started his journey as a Computer Scientist at NASA Ames Research Center and later ventured into entrepreneurship. Over the last three decades, he has achieved several milestones as the founder of startups, including Skyhigh Networks (acquired by McAfee), Securent (acquired by Cisco), Confluent (acquired by Oracle), and Micrograam.

Currently, he serves as a Capstone Lecturer for the graduate MICS program, is a part of the External Advisory Committee for the Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity, and is a key advisor and LP at Berkeley Skydeck.
