Undoubtedly, it is widely recognized that Artificial Intelligence (AI) has permeated various aspects of our lives, extending its reach from our homes to offices, educational institutions, medical fields, and even agriculture. Its presence has become ubiquitous across these domains. It has become so widespread that many people are unaware of its significance or our reliance on it.
As artificial intelligence continues to revolutionize the environment we live in, the experts underscore both its positive and negative consequences for civilization. As an optimist at heart, we feel the changes will be generally positive but may be difficult for some.
To provide further clarity, we have gathered fresh data from a recent Ipsos survey. This data sheds light on the subject and offer valuable insights.
The survey by Ipsos for the World Economic Forum explores attitudes toward AI in 28 countries around the world; six out of 10 adults expect artificial intelligence goods and services to dramatically affect their daily lives in the next three to five years. In fact, half of them believe it has already occurred in recent years.
These findings are based on the survey of 19,504 persons under 75 years performed between November 19 and December 3, 2021, on Ipsos’ Global Advisor online platform.
It also highlights the differences between emerging and high-income economies.
The areas set to see the biggest changes are education, safety, and employment.
