I came across the renowned Horace Mann School in New York City today. The school is named after the 19th-century educational reformer, Horace Mann, who was a strong advocate for quality public education. The annual tuition fee of the school exceeds $52,000.

While our rankings offer valuable information, we strongly suggest adding in in-person visits, talking to school leaders, and hearing from current parents. Every child is different, and the right fit goes beyond rankings.

In these cases, we do our best to use data that is available to the public. On the other hand, schools that are actively involved in the ranking process can receive a more thorough assessment.
