The Indian state of Rajasthan is a land of color, music, and rich culture. It’s adorned with numerous palaces and stories which will leave you spellbound. Our team at Moonpreneur decided to take a breather and so we headed to Rajasthan’s capital city Jaipur, also known as The Pink City. 

A road trip with the team is always a fun-filled adventure. The city of Jaipur offers three majestic forts and Amer Fort is undoubtedly the winner among the all. Those beautiful yellow walls and grandeur architecture speaks for the royalty which existed in the era gone by. The trip had loads of selfies and laughter as we visited another iconic monument, Hawa Mahal which has a fusion of Islamic, Mughal, and Rajput architectural styles and is comprised of 953 windows. The Maharaja Palace and Birla Temple presented folks with their own charm and beauty.

Post soaking in the royalty of the forts and folk music it was time for trying famous Rajasthani cuisines of which Dal Baati Churma at Chokhi Dhani seemed to tingle most of our taste buds. It was one of the most satisfying dishes most of us

ever had. The trip concluded after a lot of shopping sprees in Pink City’s local markets which apparently offer traditional Rajasthani clothes and footwear made out of rare Camel leather. 

The trip served as an important team-building activity and we’re thankful to our CEO – Alok Jain, COO/CTO – Vishal Malhotra, and CIO – Vikas Shukla who took the wonderful initiative to take the team out in order to make fresh ideas flow between the team members, which would ultimately help in taking Moonpreneur’s vision further and bring everyone together as a family.
