The Borough has launched a 100th Anniversary Essay Contest for High School and 7th & 8th grade students, presented by the South Plainfield Municipal Clerk’s Office. The borough began the celebration season early with the release of special Centennial keepsakes.

South Plainfield Recreation offers a wide range of sports camps, classes, and lessons for all ability levels and a range of ages spanning 1.5 to adult. Programs are offered in soccer, tennis, basketball, golf, multi-sports, t-ball, lacrosse, track and field, and football.
