\r\n Whole numbers are not closed under division<\/strong> because dividing two whole numbers does not always produce another whole number.\r\n

There is an important detail here.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Division can be distributed when the same divisor<\/strong> applies to each term in the numerator:<\/p>\r\n\r\n
