The negative factors of 24 are the same as the positive factors but with a negative sign. For example, -1 is a factor of 24, as is -24.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The total number of factors of 24 is 16. This includes the eight positive factors and the eight negative factors.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Factors of a number can be used to solve various problems in mathematics.
