As<\/span> math<\/span> has always been <\/span>a<\/span> part<\/span> of <\/span>our lives, kids <\/span>need<\/span> a <\/span>good<\/span> base<\/span>. <\/span>Although<\/span> learning <\/span>maths<\/span> in<\/span> the<\/span> usual <\/span>ways <\/span>sometimes<\/span> may<\/span> become<\/span> tough<\/span>, <\/span>Vedic Mathematics<\/span><\/a> provides<\/span> a <\/span>completely<\/span> different <\/span>and <\/span>exciting<\/span> method<\/span> that <\/span>could make learning math for young<\/span> children<\/span> a fun-filled <\/span>and <\/span>enjoyable task<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>

Ekanyunena Purvena, which helps kids to execute fast calculations efficiently, is one of the essential <\/span>Vedic Maths concepts<\/span><\/a> and is the sub-sutra to Nikhilam, Ekanyunena Purvena, and has the meaning of \u201cone less than the previous\u201d OR \u201cone less than the one before.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Ekanyunena Purvena is used for simplifying complex multiplication and subtraction problems, making calculations quicker and easier.<\/span><\/p>

Only such <\/span>a <\/span>handful<\/span> of <\/span>situations can be <\/span>used<\/span> here<\/span> that<\/span> strictly<\/span> come<\/span> under<\/span> the<\/span> above<\/span> requirement<\/span>. For <\/span>instance<\/span>, <\/span>only <\/span>a number that <\/span>is to be multiplied (the multiplicand\/multiplier) contains<\/span> nine digits. For <\/span>example, 999, 99999, 99999999, and so on<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>

The condition mentioned above is possible only in three different situations.<\/span><\/p>

Case 1. Both numbers contain an equal number of digits.\u00a0<\/b><\/h4>

Example: 2463 x 9999<\/p>

Step 1:\u00a0<\/p>

To\u00a0get the left part of the answer, you subtract 1 from the Multiplicand following\u00a0the Ekanyunena Purvena method.<\/p>

2463 \u2013 1 = 2462<\/p>

Step 2:<\/p>

To determine the right part of the answer, subtract the left part obtained in Step 1 from the multiplier.<\/p>

9999- 2462 = 7537<\/p>

Thus,\u00a02463 \u00d7 9999 = 24627537<\/b><\/p>

Case 2. Suppose the number of digits in one of the numbers is smaller than the count of 9s in the second number.<\/b><\/h4>

Example: 347 x 9999<\/p>

Step 1:\u00a0<\/p>

By subtracting 1 from the Multiplicand, the left part of the answer is derived using the Ekanyunena Purvena method.<\/p>

347-1 = 346<\/p>

Step 2:<\/p>

To obtain the right part of the answer, subtract the left part obtained in Step 1 from the multiplier.<\/p>

9999 \u2013 346 = 9653<\/p>

Therefore,\u00a0347 \u00d7 9999 = 3469653<\/b><\/p>

Case 3.<\/b>If the number of digits in one of the numbers ismore than that of count of 9s in the other number,<\/strong><\/h4>

Example: 266 x 99<\/p>

Step1. Since there are two 9’s in the multiplier, we multiply the Multiplicand by 100 because of the two zeroes in the answer.<\/p>

266 \u00d7 100 = 26600<\/p>

Now,\u00a0subtract the multiplicand from the product found in step 1.<\/p>

26600 \u2013 266 = 26334<\/p>

Thus,\u00a0266 \u00d7 99 = 26334<\/b><\/p>

Ekanyunena Purvena is a\u00a0useful\u00a0technique\u00a0that\u00a0lets\u00a0children\u00a0compute\u00a0numbers\u00a0mentally\u00a0easily. This technique can be applied\u00a0in mathematics,\u00a0enabling\u00a0kids\u00a0to\u00a0solve problems\u00a0with\u00a0ease.\u00a0Ekanyunena Purvena is used for\u00a0\u00a0simplifying complex mathematical\u00a0computative work,\u00a0particularly in subtraction and multiplication, which\u00a0makes\u00a0mental\u00a0computation\u00a0faster\u00a0and\u00a0easier\u00a0for\u00a0children.<\/p>
