methods for solving <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/moonpreneur.com\/math-corner\/math-anxiety\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">challenging problems<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as elaborated in <\/span>Vedic Maths books for Level<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> studies. The <\/span>Vyastisamastih sutra is one of these methods; the eleventh sutra is titled Specific and General. It explains using the average or exact middle binomial to convert a biquadratic equation into a simple quadratic equation using the quick method of mutual cancellations of odd powers.\u00a0<\/p><p>Put another way, Vedic Maths Sutras, such as the Vyastisamastih sutra, apply a particular or average value to address our issues. In the Vyastisamastih sutra, we use the average number because it shows that the average is a specific value representing a range of values.<\/p><p>Vedic Maths multiplication by 11 offers a quick and efficient method to solve problems, making calculations faster and easier for students.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Below is an explanation of the simple application of this <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/moonpreneur.com\/blog\/vedic-math-for-kids\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sutra<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to multiplication.<\/span><\/p><h4><b>Example 1<\/b><\/h4><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">58 x 62 = 3,596<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the above question, we find that 60 can be chosen as an average value for 62 and 58. And 62 is 4 numbers higher than 58, and for 62, it is 4 less than the number 58. Halving the difference, it is 4\/2 = 2<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So,<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 1: Square the average value (here it is 60): 60 x 60 = 3600<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 2: Square the halved difference (here it is 2): 2 x 2 = 4 (i.e., 62 &#8211; 58 = 4)<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 3: Subtracting the above results got from Step 1 and Step 2, we get\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3600 &#8211; 4 = 3,596<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Therefore , <\/span><b>58 x 62 = 3,596<\/b><\/p><h4><b>Example 2<\/b><\/h4><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">25 x 31 = 775<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the above question, 28 can be chosen as an average value for 31 and 25. And 31 is 6 numbers higher than 25; for 31, it is 6 less than 25. Halving the difference, it is 6\/2 = 3<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So,<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 1: Square the average value (here it is 28): 28 x 28= 784<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 2: Square the halved difference (here it is 3): 3 x 3 = 9 (i.e., 31 &#8211; 25 = 6)<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 3: Subtracting the above results got from Step 1 and Step 2, we get\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">784 &#8211; 9 = 775<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Therefore , <\/span><b>25 x 31 = 775<\/b><\/p><h4><b><a href=\"https:\/\/mp.moonpreneur.com\/math-corner\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/vedic-math.webp\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-34509\" src=\"https:\/\/mp.moonpreneur.com\/math-corner\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/vedic-math.webp\" alt=\"Vedic Math\" width=\"1024\" height=\"536\" \/><\/a><i>Here\u2019s an example of Vedic Math sutras for reference.<\/i><\/b><\/h4><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are several advantages to using the Vyastisamastih Sutra while computing multiples:<\/span><\/p><h4><b>1.
