where x, y, z and a are in arithmetic progression,
y = x + d
z = x + 2e
d = x + 3e
The solution for such equations is 2z + a = 0.
For Example
1/ (y+1)(y+2) + 1/ (y +1)(y+3) = 1/ (y+1)(y + 4) + 1/ (y+2)(y+3)
Now according to the above Sutra, the solution would be:
2(y +3) + (y+4) = 0
2y +6+y+4 = 0
3y + 10 = 0
y = -10/3
