Rosemarie Sturgill has carved a niche for herself with her work in the field of art and she will be instrumental in enhancing creative thinking of students at Moonpreneur. and applying it to STEM projects.
Moonpreneur Inc., a Silicon Valley-based, educational-management start-up specializing in an entrepreneurial and innovation-centric program for children, welcomes artist Rosemarie Sturgill as an art SME.
Rosemarie Sturgill’s expertise lies in creating original artwork, which was exhibited in galleries of the east and west coasts, and teaching art to students, preschool through high school.
Rosemarie Sturgill said: “Lessons designed to teach useful art skills will build confidence in students when they will progress towards creating a marketable end product, such as a coloring book, flip animation book, or master painting study. The program can also be the start of an original art career, in which a portfolio is begun for application to art schools, or submission to galleries.”
Alok Jain, Moonpreneur CEO, and co-founder feels her comprehensive knowledge of visual arts can help students develop their potential.
“There are many people who cannot associate art to STEM learning. This is because they are ignorant about the fact that Art enhances creative thinking and STEM learning analytical thinking and children should have both the skills. Rosemarie Sturgill will help our team in boosting creative thinking with her skills and experience,” said Alok Jain
Born in Washington D.C., well-traveled and well-experienced Rosemarie Sturgill has lived and studied art in Paris, France, and New York City. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland in Studio Art and also a CA Single Subject teaching credential in Visual Art from CSU Stanislaus. Her current home and studio are in Modesto, CA.
