At Moonpreneur, we believe in offering students opportunities to showcase their innovation and creativity through experiential learning. Mooncampaigns are projects created by our students that they present at the Show and Tell competition, a robust platform that provides them with a chance to demonstrate their technical and soft skills.
In December 2024 alone, we launched as many as 97 mooncampaigns on our platform.
Benefits of Show and Tell
The Show and Tell is a regular activity that empowers students to share their learning journey – from explaining the concept behind their project to the process of ideating, designing, and the hardware and software used – with their peers, instructors, parents, and judges.
The students gain hands-on experience by working with both the hardware and software components for their projects.
Who Participates?
Mooncampaigns are designed by students in the age group 7-13 years, and the activity is divided into three stages:
- Tier 0
- Tier 1
- Tier 2
Skills They Learn
1. Technical skills includes
Analytical Thinking: In this stage, students learn to identify problems that need to be solved, brainstorm to find solutions, gather information, and, based on that, choose the best course of action.
Design Thinking: Students learn about the design thinking approach, a non-linear process. They use the five-step process—empathize, define, ideate, prototype, test—to solve problems creatively.
Electronic Components: They also learn how to use hardware such as micro:bit, Embedded Learner Board, Arduino, jumper wires, LED, etc.
Coding: Once they design their project, they bring their projects to life using programming languages such as Python, etc.
Prototyping: They test and validate their ideas and gather feedback to enhance the final product.
2. Power Skills
At Moonpreneur, we also focus on Power Skills, a blend of soft and hard skills to create an engaging, future-ready program for children.
It includes:
- Creative thinking
- Leadership
- Talent management
- Design and user experience
- Empathy and active listening
- Financial literacy
The entire exercise of creating mooncampaigns is designed to allow children to immerse in experiential learning and use their creativity, problem-solving skills, etc. to shape their ideas. Along the way, they pick a wide range of real-world skills that empowers them to be future-ready.
Moonpreneur is on a mission to disrupt traditional education and future-proof the next generation with holistic learning solutions. Its Innovator Program is building tomorrow’s workforce by training students in AI/ML, Robotics, Coding, IoT, and Apps, enabling entrepreneurship through experiential learning.
